Teacher of Righteousness
The Teacher of Righteousness is the founding or formative inspired interpreter remembered by the Yahad. He reveals the correct meaning of Torah and prophets to the remnant community.
His conflict with opponents shaped the group’s self-image: true interpretation stands outside a corrupted establishment and is preserved by a disciplined covenant community.

The Teacher of Righteousness is less a biographical node than an authority node. He represents inspired interpretation: the correct reading of Torah and prophets revealed to the remnant when public institutions have failed. His presence allows the Yahad to claim continuity with ancient revelation while standing against the temple leadership. The Teacher also gives the movement a memory of persecution, because truth is opposed by the Wicked Priest and other hostile figures. The node belongs at the heart of the Yahad cluster because calendar, community rule, and apocalyptic hope all depend on revealed interpretation.
